I am going to talk about one of my special moments of 2010. One of them was when I found a dead squirrel in my dad's shed out back. Here's how the story goes. One afternoon, I was playing outside in my backyard when something caught my eye. It was fuzzy and inside the tool shed so I walked over to check it out.
That's when I found a dead, twitching, squirrel in there! I guess I was pretty freaked out because I ran to get my sister. When she saw it, she gasped and ran. I didn't smell it, but I could hear the flies buzzing around it. Libby went to get my dad, and he said to just leave it alone! I wanted to poke it with a stick, but I remembered what my dad said. Libby wanted to do it too, and she tried to get me to do it, but she couldn't make me give in. I thought I could start smelling it, so I walked away from it. I tried not to think about it, but I had to tell my mom.
She told me the same thing.''Don't do anything to it. Just leave it alone.'' It's probably decomposed by now, but it will stay as one of my unusually special moments of 2010!

Q. What did your first Christmas smell like?
A. Spruce/ pine christmas tree, and roast turkey.
Q. Was the smell nice?
A. It was very nice.
Q. What was your favorite toy?
A. A toy gun set.
Q. How many toys did you receive?
A. About 3.
Q. What shows did you watch on Christmas?
A. A Christmas Carol.
Q. What kinds of decor was put up?
A. Christmas trees, lights, ornaments, tinsel, and a star.
Q. Could you listen to the radio?
A. Yes!
Q. If so, what did you hear?
A. I listened to Christmas music.
Q. When did you first taste gingerbread?
A. Age of 5, 1954.
Q. What did it taste like to you?
A. Somewhat sweet, a little spicy. Like cake.

Christmas carols can change. Henry helped Hudson hang up halos. Reindeer reek of red ropes. Ivy is inside Indy's wreath. Saints sing soft songs. The tree is terribly tall. Mrs. Claus makes me more money! Aaron accomplished an acrostic alliteration. Santa steals sugar cookies.
